Important Update in Response to COVID-19 from CARE Endodontics:

In support of community health and in response to COVID-19 ,  the American Dental Association has recommended postponing elective dental procedures  for the next 3 weeks.  CARE Endodontics will return to regular business hours and all scheduled appointments on April 7, 2020.  At this time, a doctor is available for emergency patients only.  The safety of our patients continues to be our primary concern and we are working hard to adapt quickly. We are committed to being available to assist you during these challenging times.

Payment Options

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do not accept personal checks. We deliver the most exceptional care at the most reasonable cost to our patients. Payment is due at the time service unless other arrangements are made in advance.

 If you have questions regarding your account, please contact us at  773-244-1933. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.

Patient Billing

Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by this office regardless of your insurance coverage. 

We will send you a monthly statement. Most insurance companies will respond within four to six weeks. Please call our office if your statement does not reflect your insurance payment within that time frame. Any remaining balance after your insurance has paid your responsibility.

Your prompt remittance is appreciated. We can make arrangements for a monthly payment plan, such as CareCredit, before the actual procedure.

Estimates

Why an estimate? We do not honestly know what your needs are until Dr. Carrara or Ries perform a full clinical evaluation. Root canals can vary in difficulty and are priced accordingly. We may require: 

  • 3-dimensional imaging
  • Medicated fillings for healing
  • Additional Radiographs. 

Many dentists refer cases with higher levels of difficulty or complications to CARE Endodontics

These include:

  • Retrieval of separated instruments
  • Removal of retention posts
  • Repair of anatomical defects or perforations
  • Treatment of calcified canals
  • Treatment of resorption

We do our best to communicate the details of your treatment, and if a 2nd opinion is required or no treatment is needed. Ultimately you decide to accept the treatment plan or not. Specific endodontic procedures may require 2/3 appointments. We do not charge per visit, only per treatment. 

We keep a credit card on file for balances less than $50.00. Care Endodontics values your privacy, and if you are not comfortable with this, we will charge a $ 50.00 service fee- to be refunded when full payment is received. If you do not provide insurance information or we can not verify insurance coverage, you will be responsible for the total fee without provider discounts. We will provide you with an insurance claim, and you can work directly with your Insurance Carrier.
